Kusum Sharma
I am honoured to be a first-generation business leader and entrepreneur, having been born into a well-known farming family in the village of Jugsana Kalan, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. My upbringing in a tight-knit rural town instilled in me the principles of perseverance, honesty, and hard work, which have guided me throughout my career.
I have always thought that agriculture, entrepreneurship, and technical education are essential to our country’s prosperity. I’ve always believed that business is a positive force that promotes social change, innovation, and job development.
This conviction motivated me to pursue entrepreneurship with a strong sense of purpose and enthusiasm, which resulted in the creation of my own clothing businesses, Samarth Fashion and Riwazra, both of which are situated in Noida, India.
I have worked with customers in Europe and the USA for more than 15 years in clothing merchandising and fashion exports, combining professionalism and innovation. Today, I want to enable future professionals to pursue lucrative careers in clothing retailing, apparel exports, and fashion business management through my expanding online presence and instructional content.
My goal is to support skill-based education in the fashion and export industries, foster entrepreneurship, and develop fresh talent in order to contribute to India’s success narrative.
